Caller ID Spoofing – Real Fraud with Fake Numbers
Jelte Jansons
Director Product Management
Caller ID spoofing is increasingly used to facilitate fraud against businesses and individuals. Bank customers, in particular, are becoming victims of fraud initiated through spoofed calls, which has made banks and other financial institutions push for regulations in the telecom space. In Finland, the authorities have already implemented such regulations, and the rest of Europe and many other regions and countries are now looking to do the same.
In this masterclass, Enea’s expert on voice fraud and mitigation technology, Jelte Jansons, will dive into regulators’ response to spoofing and how operators must prepare for compliance.
