ConfD CLI

The ConfD CLI allows developers to rapidly generate a production quality CLI for configuring and monitoring network elements. The CLI can be generated in a Cisco or Juniper style and takes advantage of the powerful features provided by the Core Engine including transaction management. Developing a sophisticated CLI from scratch is a significant development project, but ConfD dramatically streamlines this process.

  • Faster time-to-market – With powerful wizards, rich editing features and standard Cisco/Juniper command styles, rapid implementation is realized.
  • Reduced development costs – Easily extensible and new functions need only be instrumented once and auto-rendered consistently in a shared XML model.
  • Advanced management capabilities – Capabilities include transaction management, validation, and rollbacks, as well as robust security features.
  • Developer friendly – Well documented, easy to use with support for syntactic and semantic code validation as well as support for automatic schema upgrade and downgrades.
